Hastings Farm The Cottages Facilities The Area Late Availability Home Links The five holiday cottages at Hastings Farm enjoy a glorious setting surrounded by fields - one of the few remaining areas of peaceful countryside so far `undiscovered'. Originating in 1652, the cottages have been converted from the 17th Century farm's splendid range of outbuildings to form a cluster of charming single-storey cottages set around the former farmyard which is now a fragrant herb garden. Care has been taken to retain the original charm and character of the old buildings, which are laid out to offer optimum privacy and provide a range of modern facilities. As resident owners we have lived here for 17 years and are pleased to welcome you and help to make your holiday a perfect experience. With our local knowledge we will do our best to help you enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of Dorset. Close to the birthplace and cottage of Thomas Hardy, these superb cottages in a truly tranquil setting are perfect for a really relaxing self catering holiday. Our new web site.... www.dorsetfarmcottages.co.uk .... will be launched soon visit the new site for a fresh look at Hastings Farm We will be closing from Nov 4th for the winter when we will be busy making improvements and re-furbishments, come back and have a look at the new web site to see what we've been doing.
